Today is a sad day for us at Magnolia-licious. This is Kerri's last post for us. When Shawn bought the store from Diana, Kerri was one of the first girls he picked to be on the Design Team. So she has been here since the beginning. Shawn was telling me the other day how incredible it has been to watch her cards get better and better. To see what an awesome colourist she has become, and how lucky he was to have her on the team. I think we all feel the same. It's been such a pleasure to work with Kerri.

We wish you the very best in all that you do Kerri! We will be looking for your beautiful work online.

August 28th - Fruit Salad Tilda

Hello Everyone,

I hope things are going well for you all! It's so strange, it's been so super hot here, then at the end of last week, it started getting cooler. Now you can feel fall in the air. We have yet to get any rain, but the mainland has, and it has helped significantly with the forest fires. Thank goodness!

The kids all go back to school here after this coming weekend. I guess it will be back to schedules and busy times for all the Moms and Dads out there. My grandson is super excited to go back to school and see his friends again! I wish our kids loved school through out all the years! lol

Today Karen is joining us with her beautiful card!

She has stamped Fruit Salad Tilda and coloured her in with Prismacolor Premiere Pencils. The pretty patterned paper is from Maja Designs, called Vintage Spring Basics. Karen has also made her own Foamiran Flower and used White Microbead Stamen for the center. All other products used are from her personal stash!

Thursday August 23 - Melon Tilda

Hi Everyone,

It's been so quiet all over the city lately. The smoke from all the forest fires is thick in the air. It's hard to breath, eyes itching, and anyone with any chronic illnesses or asthma is certainly having a very hard time right now. Everyone is avoiding going outside. The smoke is so thick the sun can't shine through it. They say we should have rain on Sunday! Our first real rainfall since May here.
I think I'll go outside and start a rain dance! lol

Today Melanie is joining us with her striking card!

Melanie has used the Melon Tilda from the Fruit Salad Collection 2018. She didn't say, but I think she used Copic Markers on this one. Please correct me if I am wrong Melanie.  Used on this card is the Rox Stamps Die called Square Dies with Cross Stitch and the Rox Stamps Die Circular with Tiny Holes Dies, and she used the heart center for the leaves. Also used are DooHickey Dies - Sakura Flowers and Umbrella and the Vintage Box Lacing Chocolate.

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all doing well. Things have been pretty quiet here, nothing really new at all. I have been stamping quite a bit and enjoying this time. Here the kids go back to school after the September long weekend, so you so see so many parents out shopping with their kids for school supplies and new school clothes! That used to be my favorite time of year when I was younger. My Dad would spare no expense, and we would each load up a shopping cart, and there were 4 of us! lol I think he must have been a little crazy, haha, but wow, we had a blast! Then we would go home and model all our new clothes for all the family. Ahhh....memories. Do you have any special memories related to the beginning of a new school year? Any traditions?

Today Plony is with us sharing a beautiful bauble! It's just so lovely, it takes my breath away.

Berry Tilda from the Aspen Holiday 2016 Collection was stamped and coloured in and cut out. The card was made using Lemon Crafts Paper - Violet Silence. The die used on this is the  Gummiapan Old Stars, and the sentiment is also from Gummiapan called Sending Love. Also used is a Rox Stamps Silver Snowflake, Lovely Fine Rose Lace, Chipboard Big Leaves, on which Plony added some crushed glass. The flowers were handmade by Plony using Purple and Light Violet Foamiran and she used the CB Stencil 06. The stamens used in the flowers are White Glitter Stamens, and 3mm White Stamens. Anything else used on this beautiful bauble are from Plony's personal stash.

Thursday August 16th - Tilda with a Daisy

Hello Everyone,

I hope this post finds you all doing well. It's hard to believe that September is just around the corner. I enjoy the colours of fall, and of course the coolness. It's nice to put a sweater on at night, or sit around a campfire. Oh, and hot chocolate...YUM! I guess I shouldn't be wishing away the summer so fast, it just seemed so long this year. I can't wait to smell the rain, and all the freshness that it brings with it. lol...moving on...

Kerri is joining us today to share her adorable card! She has used the Tilda with a Daisy stamp, and coloured her in with Distress Reinkers, watercolouring. She has used 2 stamps from Gummiapan on her card, the Sending Love and Limited Edition. They are so cute too. All other embellishments are from Kerri's personal stash.

Tuesday August 14 - Fruit Salad Tilda

Hi Everyone,

How are you all doing? I think heat wave we have been having in British Columbia has finally broken. Woohooo. We had about 2 minutes of rain on the weekend, and that was it. There are still so many forest fires burning in our province, towns evacuated, it's quite scary. Here in Victoria, we were blanketed with smoke all day, so no sunshine. But, what can you do! It was almost 10 degrees cooler than last week.

I hope you are all faring well where you live.

Today Rene is sharing her beautiful, soft and lacy looking card! I am just loving it Rene! The image is Fruit Salad Tilda, and she is coloured with Copic Markers, on Neenah Solar White Cardstock. Also used is the Lemon Craft 6" x 6" Paper Pad called Yesterday. That paper is just so darn pretty. Then as a final touch used some of the Lovely Fine Rose lace from Poland.

What a beautiful vintage looking card! 

Karen has used the Tilda with Early Bird stamp from the Le Fleur Collection. She has coloured her in with Prismacolor Premiere Pencils. Design Paper used is from Maja Design Celebration Paper Pad. Karen has used the gorgeous Inversus Die from Gummiapan, Ecru Lace, and White Foamiran with Pink Stamens from the Magnolia-licious store. Everything else used is from Karen's personal stash!
